The BAYELSA FILMMAKERS AWARD, also known as BFA, is presented annually to recognize and honour Bayelsa Based Filmmakers who have contributed to the Film industry in the State.
The first step of being nominated for this award is via an online nomination done by filmmakers in the state. Secondly, after the screening of nominees which enlisting is based on highly nominated artists, the nominees are put on contest where voting is done by the Bayelsa Film Audience to determine the winner in each category.
